Founder of Ezekwere Law

Goldia Ezekwere is an attorney who is committed to relentlessly advocacy.

In law school, holding a variety of hats, she worked as a legal intern for the U. S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, she was a member of Black Law Student Association, The International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi and a Presidential Fellow (Top ranking students at South Texas College of Law-Houston).

Before attending law school, Ezekwere lived in New York City, where she worked in the entertainment industry, focusing on branding and the development of emerging artists. This role provided her with valuable insights into brand-building. Leveraging this experience, she later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management.

During an in-house legal internship, Ezekwere was introduced to the field of compliance, which sparked her interest in regulatory compliance, particularly in relation to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives. Additionally, her judicial internship deepened her interest in litigation, more specifically employment law, immigration law, and criminal law.

In the summer of 2021, Ezekwere participated in the Houston Bar Association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program, which led to a summer clerk position with CenterPoint Energy. Her experience there was subsequently featured in an interview with the Houston Lawyer Magazine podcast.

Starting Ezekwere Law, PLLC. Ezekwere primary focus is on Immigration Law.

“As a daughter to immigrant parents, I know the benefit and relief of having comfort in where you choose to reside… It is why I advocate for my clients, they deserve peace and fulfillment as well..”
